Before his retirement from professional ministry, Dana Robert Hicks was a church planter, pastor, professor, and leadership developer for over 30 years. He has contributed to more than five books and many articles that revolve around the themes of culture, change, evangelism, church planting, and mission. Dana received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Northwest Nazarene University, the Master of Divinity degree from Nazarene Theological Seminary, and the Doctor of Ministry degree from the Beeson Pastor Doctoral Fellowship at Asbury Theological Seminary. He has also done post-doctoral studies at Asbury Theological Seminary in “Church Planting for the 21st Century.” He lives in Phoenix, Arizona.
