David de Léon is a user experience designer and an expert on how humans interact with physical and digital artefacts. During a typical work week, he conducts user research, designs stuff, tells compelling stories, and coaches his colleagues to do the same. Much of his work entails coming up with new ideas or helping others do so. Through the years he has therefore developed and collected methods and insights on how to get the creative juices flowing. This is the topic of his most recent book. In his free time David reads philosophy, psychology and science fiction, performs magic, writes essays, plays with his wife, chats with his kids, or lies immobile on the sofa for hours daydreaming.
