Deanna Lawrence is a former TV journalist, anchor, producer and photographer with more than three decades at WTVT Ch. 13 in Tampa, Florida. A graduate of Northwestern University, Deanna is an award-winning storyteller. Among her accolades, Deanna was honored with international, national and regional awards including: • Two Regional Emmys • UPI Award of Excellence • Two Angel Awards • Associated Press Award of Excellence • National Gabriel Award • Education Writer’s Association National Award • International New York Film Festival Silver Medal. Deanna retired and returned to her native state of North Carolina and currently lives with her husband, John, in the western North Carolina mountains.
