Deborah Madar is the author of four works of women’s fiction, Convergence (2014) and Dark Riddle (2020), A Deeper Dive- Book #1 in the Merrill Connor Mystery series (2023), and Boulder Point, Book #2 in the Merrill Connor Mystery series (2024), all published by NFB Publishing. A proud native of Western New York, Debbie taught high school and college English for many years. Like her latest protagonist Merrill Connor, she was encouraged by a loved one to find a new passion when she retired. “Mom, when are you going to write something?” her son asked. And so she did. Debbie and her husband Gary live in Bemus Point and have four children and nine grandchildren.
