I was born in the town that dreaded sundown and have resigned myself to the fact I'll probably die here, too. It's the story that's important to me so I can't say I'm a horror writer, it's just those are the only ones that have been published. Only in horror and fantasy can your make believe world be totally improbable. It lets your imagination run wild. Maybe that's why I enjoy writing in those genres so much. Altered Reality Magazine included my short story Wipires in their 2019 March issue, my first time in print when I was sixty. The following year I wrote The Changed, a weekly chapter serial for Mandatory Midnight ezine, illustrated by David Paul and you can still read it at davidpaulharris.com as well as browse his works of dark art. A number of anthologies include my short stories: Universe of Attractions, Hotel Evil, Nothing Ever Happens in Fox Hollow I & II, Lost In Fox Hollow, Scare Me. Several novels are in the works.
