Della Hicks-Wilson is a black British poet and writer of Caribbean descent. She received her B.A. and M.A. in English from King’s College, Cambridge, where she was invited to perform her work by the Student Union. Her poem ‘dis-place-meant’ was published in the American anthology For Women: In Tribute to Nina Simone, whilst her shorter self-published works have garnered more than a million likes and shares to date and graced the platforms of Mail Online, Mantra Wellness magazine and New York Times bestselling author, Glennon Doyle. Born and raised in London, she currently resides in Cambridgeshire. Small Cures is her first collection.
