Diana Renn writes mysteries for readers of all ages. Her young adult novels, all published by Viking / Penguin, include TOKYO HEIST, LATITUDE ZERO and BLUE VOYAGE. Her adult title, FALSE IDOLS, was written in collaboration with Lisa Klink and Patrick Lohier and published in digital and audio serialization by Realm (formerly Serial Box) and in paperback by Adaptive Studios. Her newest book, TROUBLE AT TURTLE POND, is a middle grade eco-mystery published by Fitzroy Books / Regal House; it was named a 2023 Honor Book in the Green Earth Book Awards and a 2023 Children's Book Council Librarian Favorites winner. Her next "Backyard Rangers" book for middle grade readers, THE OWL PROWL MYSTERY, comes out in 2024. A nonfiction writer as well, Diana received a 2022 Massachusetts Cultural Council Fellowship Award as a creative nonfiction finalist an essay collection in progress. Her essays and short stories have appeared in numerous journals and magazines, including Publisher's Weekly, The Huffington Post, WBUR's Cognoscenti, Pangyrus, Flyway Journal of Writing and Environment, Brain Child, The Writer, Writer's Digest, YARN (Young Adult Review Network), The Indiana Review, and more. Diana lives outside of Boston, works as an editor and book coach, serves as a Mentor at Creature Conserve, and teaches writing at Grub Street.
