Dija is a highly respected skin health specialist and founder of the two time Aesthetic Award winning and Vogue Beauty Finalist Black Skin Directory; founded in 2018 as a means to better connect people of colour to professional skincare services. Additionally, she leads and owns West Room Aesthetics - a boutique skin health destination and centre of skin care excellence with a focus of skin of colour. Dija is a Glamour Magazine beauty columnist and her work as key opinion leader and authority in diversity has seen her lead and participate panel talks with the likes of the House of Commons, Stylist Live, Cosmoprof, Brown's University, The Financial Times, British Association of Dermatologists, Refinery29, BBC, Aesthetic Journal and Aesthetic Medicine Journal. Dija sits on the expert board for the British Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology (BABTAC) and on the advisory board for the British Beauty Council, an organisation committed to developing excellence and growth within the commercial British beauty sector. Additionally, Dija is a Trustee of Beauty Backed.
