Originally from the Chicago area, Donna Sundblad now calls the foothills of Northwest Georgia home, where she lives with her husband, cat, and bird. Her love for storytelling began in childhood, entertaining friends and family with the vivid tales of her active imagination. By her teenage years, Donna’s passion for writing had taken root, and with encouragement from a supportive English teacher, she began to transform her imaginative stories into written form. An avid reader with a broad taste in genres, Donna specializes in good versus evil YA fantasy fiction. Her stories are woven with prophecies, quests, and the timeless battle between light and darkness. The inspiration for The Inheritance came from her own spiritual journey to uncover Truth. Although raised in a religious home, Donna's transformative encounter with Jesus Christ at age 29 profoundly impacted her life and inspired her writing. Through this work, she invites readers to explore their beliefs and consider the nature of Truth, encouraging reflection on their eternal destinies. In her YA fantasy, Windwalker, readers will embark on an epic journey with Manelin, a social outcast, and Jalil, a lame Jonnick girl, as they navigate ancient prophecies and a world teetering on the brink of destruction.
