Doris Gaines Rapp, Ph.D. is a writer by birth, psychologist and teacher by education and experiences. She creates fictional characters that live in several centuries and loves the stories she tells. All of her works have at their heart a Christian basis. She also writes on the non-fiction topics of Self-publishing with an encouragement to promote yourself and your work, as well as Prayer Therapy, learning to pray specifically so God can answer prayers specifically. She is the former counseling center director of Taylor University, Upland, and Bethel College, Mishawaka, IN. What a wonderful time in her life! She currently writes full time. She and her pastor husband have six children and have survived! They live in Indiana, but not to rest - to write, to travel and to live each day as if it mattered. Dr. Rapp recently received the Who's Who Lifetime Achievement Award.
