Doug Magee is a writer, photographer and filmmaker living in New York's East Harlem. A former photojournalist, he has worked as a screenwriter since 1987. His produced films include Somebody Has To Shoot The Picture, starring Roy Scheider, and Beyond The Call, with Sissy Spacek and David Strathairn. He is the author of the non-fiction books Slow Coming Dark and What Murder Leaves Behind, both taken from his work as an anti-death penalty activist. His first two novels are Never Wave Goodbye and Darkness All Around. In January of 2016 he published the ebook President Blog.
