Hello, Thank you for visiting my author's page. My name is Dr. George Akinkuoye, a mental health clinician with practice in Natick Massachusetts. I am the CEO and President of Medical Community Psychotherapy LLC. Formally a partner and co-founder of Collaborative Mental Health Services Framingham, Massachusetts. Originally trained and graduated as an Architect and a Construction manager. Have been designing buildings since my days in college and later graduated and worked as a cost Engineer with Holloway and Sons Construction Company in Boston Massachusetts. Prior to my transition to healthcare. I was having recurrent dreams of seeing myself taking care of patients for many years, even while I was an engineer. This eventually led me to my life long goal. I made the move during a lay off and a marital relationship breakdown, leaving construction behind, and never looked back since then. I left my body as a teenager numerous times while I was awake, most especially after practicing some meditation techniques I found in my father's library. (My father was an ex-catholic seminarian with several original catholic books translated from Latin, which caught my interest at the time). No one, not even the priests who were family friends at that time could explain what was happening to me. The out-of-body experiences got me searching to see if others had similar experiences, and yes I found so many. This had led me on a life-long journey of searching for the methods of connecting more with my greater self within, which has since then, opened many doors. I do sometimes hear music while deeply asleep and shared that with the doctor who worked with me at the time, who also mentioned that he experiences same thing. I do compose music in an attempt to match what I was hearing from sleep, but with no match, as the ones I heard were of much finer qualities. I discovered that the experiences of God or the Christ within does not depend on how many outer organizations you belong to, but in learning the inner way of love, and opening up the eye of the soul within, knowing that we are our own limitation. There are no boundaries in terms of the evolution of our spiritual consciousness other than the one we place on ourselves. We need to recognize that we have more bodies than the physical one we see in the mirror, and see how those bodies limits us or help us toward our journey within, our journey into transcendence. I believe that we do not need to die to visit heaven, but can do so daily, depending on where we put our attention and energy. Where your mind is, is where you are putting your energy, and that is where you are. Mindfulness living can transform our life, irrespective of what situation we are confronted with. This world is a classroom and we are here on a journey, Some day we must go back home, hence the attention we give to our gradual unfoldment while working with all our bodies… physical, emotional, mental, spiritual, and that of improving the karmic relationship between us and those we meet daily is crucial. Again, thankyou for visiting my page. #Love
