Dr. Karen Barbee is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Supervisor, Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist and the owner and clinical director of Renaissance Wellness Services, LLC, a mental health and substance abuse agency located in Central North Carolina. Dr. Barbee is also a Contributing Professor for Walden University in their School of Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counselor program. Dr. Barbee serves as the current chair of her county's Board of Health and is a board member of her local Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Barbee works with local and national organizations to promote racial equity through consultation, education and outreach.
