Edward was born in 1954 in the village of Temple town, Co. Durham, Northeast England, in a house in the middle of Consett Iron Company. He emigrated to Toronto, Canada, on board the Empress of England in 1966- the last time the Toronto Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup. As an avid fan, Ted is still looking forward to their repeat! Living in the Beaches, he moved to Mississauga, then to Brampton and back to his roots in the village of Hillsburgh for ten years, and finally to his forever-after home in Peterborough. Ted started his career as an accountant, first in the service industry, then with a cosmetic manufacturer, and finally in the trucking business. Now in his retirement, he fills his time driving a school bus. Ted, when not running a school bus on the roads, loves fishing, or gardening and can often be found in his library writing or reading science fiction. Being a sucker for good science fiction, Ted practiced for over a decade before publishing his own masterpiece. Now he aspires to write fun, adventurous, magical, battles, and love stories about quirky characters with the fusion of fiction. He dedicated this book to his wife Beth, who helped him remember the passion of storytelling, and his Mum Lorna, for putting up with the aspirations of a budding Ernest Hemingway. Ted is planning to write the second part of Troaell Bridges, Draegons Gold, if it is a big hit (which surely it will be). You can visit him at https://tedbuckettauthor.com/
