Elan Golomb earned her doctorate in clinical psychology and her certificate in psychoanalysis and psychotherapy from New York University. She has been in private practice in New York since 1972. She is the author of Unloved Again: Breaking Your Serial Addiction and Trapped in the Mirror: Adult Children of Narcissistic Parents in Their Struggle for Self. "I spent many years studying my own unhappy experiences until I had an 'Aha moment' which inspired me to write these books. I suffered a troubled love life and didn't understood why I was repeating my mistakes. Only after struggling for years to understand my childhood, did I free myself in my late 50s, when I met and chose someone I could really love, someone who could really love me."
