Hello! I'm very excited to announce that my new novel, BENEATH THE LEMON TREES, will be published by Boldwood Books on September 6th. Set on the idyllic island of Crete, it's a gripping tale of secrets, lies, loss - and love. My previous book is THE HOUSE ON ROCKAWAY BEACH, where the action takes place on New York's sizzling urban beach, just a stone's throw from the bright lights of Manhattan. Prior to this, I wrote a series of five Cornish books set in the fictional seaside village of Tremarnock. I've also written The Darling Girls, Never Close Your Eyes and Gym and Slimline. They're very different stories, but all are warm, heartfelt tales about women, love, life, work, relationships and families, so maybe they're not that dissimilar after all. I studied English at Cambridge University before becoming a journalist for local and national newspapers and women's magazines. I live in South West London and have three children. As well as visiting Cornwall, New York and Crete (of course!) I like reading (a lot), hiking with friends and wild water swimming.
