F. Mark Granato was born and raised in Hartford, Connecticut's south end and worked nearly 30 years as a journalist and corporate communications executive. He traveled the world extensively, and while journeying would spend his captive hours musing plots and characters for novels in his head. Today he is the author of six historical fiction novels, including the acclaimed "Finding David" -- a story dedicated to a boyhood friend who was killed in Vietnam that explores the devastation experienced by his survivors and the tragedy of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
