Frank Borrelli was born and raised in New York State. He was only ten years old when he was introduced to The Lord of the Rings and Dungeons & Dragons and fell in love with fantasy. Since then, he has been an unapologetic RPG enthusiast and has devoted himself to writing dark fantasy fiction. When he is not writing all night and weekends, he spends his weekdays teaching awesome at-risk teens to compose exciting stories of their own. Rose, the young protagonist of his REIGN OF EXTINCTION series of books, is based in part on the significant struggles and successes of the inspirational young people he has been so fortunate to meet and teach throughout the years. When he is not writing, teaching, or eating, he is often lost (and can sometimes be found) wandering the woods in the Northeast, or, trekking through the desert somewhere in the Southwest with his wonderful wife.
