Gabriel Dylan is a secondary school teacher who spends his free time writing books intended to frighten tweens and teens.
The idea for his debut novel, young adult horror WHITEOUT, published by Little Tiger in 2019, came to him whilst leading a Sixth form ski trip to the wilds of Austria and wishing a horde of vampires would descend from the trees and devour the students who weren’t behaving.
The first book in his current series, Middle Grade horror SHIVER POINT, was published in September 2023 by Piccadilly Press, and was made book of the week in the Times Newspaper. There are currently three books in the SHIVER POINT series, each one mixing scares with humour, as well referencing Gabriel’s love of classic horror films from the 80s and 90s.
A keen surfer and snowboarder, Gabriel lives in the south west of England and loves travelling to sandy and snowy destinations with his wife and three children.
