I have been a professional science fiction, fantasy, suspense and mystery writer since 1972, and a professional illustrator and graphic artist since 1969 (illustrated "Machine Tools" and "Hoists, Cranes and Derricks" by Dr. Herbert S. Zim). I began writing fiction intensively after military service and sold my first story to Analog Science Fiction Magazine in 1972. Numerous other short stories and five novels followed. The first two novels, HOUNDSTOOTH and A GAME OF TITANS, were large-scale techno-thrillers (ten years before Tom Clancy started doing them) published by Prentice-Hall. THE GODS OF CERUS MAJOR was a science fiction adventure published by Doubleday. MORLAC: THE QUEST OF THE GREEN MAGICIAN was an epic fantasy novel, and DEATH HUNT ON A DYING PLANET was a science fiction adventure, and both were published by NAL/Signet Books. I have also had numerous stories in magazines and anthologies. Much of my work has appeared in foreign editions as well. I have worked at Miami's Community Newspapers for 15 years as a reporter and contributing editor, covering everything from local politics, feature stories and "positive people" stories to new business openings, with more than 1,200 by-lined stories published. I have written a Steampunk (Victorian Science Fiction) screenplay that my Hollywood agent is showing to major producers ("Perseverance Triumphant!", and there's an eBook novella version, too!), and have finished writing the sequel to my unusual sci-fi spy novel, "Aggie & Agent X"; it's called "Aggie & Agent X - The Mandarin Mystery". I'm also working on adding several new eBooks to those I already have on Amazon (HOUNDSTOOTH, MYSTERIES AT MIDNIGHT, THE CROSS OF ST. ANNE, MURDER IN DEER PARK and JOLLY ROGER). One of the new ones will be the eBook edition of THE GODS OF CERUS MAJOR, originally published by Doubleday, and the eBook edition of A GAME OF TITANS is done and published! I love writing and am almost always working on a new project! And I am now married to a wonderful woman who is also a skillful writer. She's working on books of her own and writing articles for various publications, as well as suggesting markets for me to explore. And we have two rescue cats who keep us busy!
