George Chiang is a Canadian actor, writer, lyricist and composer. Chiang wrote and composed the musical, Golden Lotus, which won the Hong Kong English Drama Award for “Best Original Work” at the 2015 Hecklers Awards. Chiang also wrote the book, The Railroad Adventures of Chen Sing, which won the Pacific Book Award, Reader Views Reviewers Choice Award and two Global Ebook Awards. Chiang began his acting career by appearing in many plays in Toronto and spent a season at Canada’s flagship theatre, the Stratford Shakespeare Festival, performing in Othello and Twelfth Night. He has appeared in many film and television productions which include Disney's Eloise at the Plaza, McKenna Shoots for the Stars, Dark Matter (TV series) and Diabolik. He will also be seen in upcoming feature film X-Men: Dark Phoenix, Flarsky and The Hummingbird Project. www.georgechiang.org
