Georgina M Donovan's first career choice was secret agent. At age nine that was not a viable option. To bide her time she submersed herself in reading, and writing stories about surfing spies and other adventurers, that took her far from the desert to exotic locations, mostly Hawaii. Georgina's first mystery novel was set in Hawaii, of course! Former business owner of a shave ice shop, her connection with Hawaii goes back many years including frequent visits to family friends on Oahu. Long appreciation of the Islands has brought her a profound love of the aloha spirit and the magic that is unique to Hawaii. Writing background includes: Sherlock Holmes societies, literacy coach, convention lectures, newsletters, plays, book clubs, creating amateur music videos, and co-writer/editor of fanzines, co-writer of a religious musical. The culmination of the passions for writing and adventure have inspired her debut mystery novel READS LIKE MURDER IN HONOLULU as the first of 12 novels. These include Sherlock Holmes, gypsy curses, wizards and dragons and Jacelene the Ripper; so far . . . . Maybe some surfing spies will make an appearance in the future!
