Gisle Solhaug is originally from Norway but currently lives in Texas. His education is in Physics and Engineering. He holds a B.Sc. Degree in Engineering as well as an MBA in International Business. He worked 20 years as a Project Manager in the Marine and Offshore Industries, mostly in Singapore. Gisle was the Construction Manager for converting an ultra large crude oil carrier into the world's largest floating oil production storage and offloading unit (FPSO), as well as construction manager for the world's largest FPSO newbuilding. Gisle married Rita in April 2001. Their son Gregory was born in November 2002. In 2010 the family moved to Norway. Gregory was a keen golfer already from a very young age. In 2013 the family decided to move to Florida for Gisle to take an MBA in International Business while setting up his company Rational Golf LLC, which would then refine and market the inventions he had earlier made. Nobody else has ever presented a scientific solution to the problem of matching golf clubs. The system is available online and through a worldwide network of clubfitters.
