Helen Erichsen has an academic background in sociology, psychology and criminology. She is marrried to bridge professional Espen Erichsen and is an acomplished player in her own right who has represented England several times. Her debut novel: Murder by Natural Causes was borne out of insomnia. When she couldn't sleep Helen invented characters and plot lines inside her head. The result is a compelling psychological thriller in which bridge plays a small but essential part and the introduction of a heroine, or perhaps an anti-heroine, that the reader will never forget. When she isn't writing, teaching or playing bridge, Helen can generally be found in the garden.
