Henry is the son of an Army veteran. The wisdom and loving kindness poured into him by his parents equipped him to join the United States Air Force where he served just shy of 30 years. Throughout his military career he filled a myriad of roles, including aircraft structural maintenance craftsman, additional-duty First Sergeant, Academic Affairs, Command First Sergeant/Functional Manager, and Installation Command Chief Master Sergeant. His assignments spanned across eight states, the Pentagon, Japan, and a great deal of temporary assignments. Henry also deployed three times, in support of Operation IRAQI FREEDOM and Operation ENDURING FREEDOM. He has influenced other military forces from Japan, England, Israel, Spain, and Africa of aircraft maintenance and leadership development principles. After his transition from the Air Force, he was hired as a Town Manager in Massachusetts, where he served as the Chief Administrative Officer for the professional staff as well as served and advised the senior elected governing body, the Select Board. In this role, he set and executed a $110+ million budget, and oversaw 19 departments, rendering all aspects of municipal services to the nearly 19,000 population community. His local government career began in April 2020, at the onset of the global pandemic, COVID-19. Henry’s passion for enhancing others at a community level was fulfilled with this amazing opportunity. Henry has earned two bachelor degrees, in applied management and Biblical studies and theology. He built upon the foundation of two associate degrees, in human resources and airframe technology. He also has a Certificate in Local Government Leadership & Management and several other strategic and executive courses. He has the honor of being the coordinating co-author for the book, SILENCE, Rediscovering Your Need for Moments of Solitude. The most recent book is TRIUMPHANT TRANSITIONS, where he partnered with Christopher McKinney. Henry has a wealth of knowledge related to municipal, defense, human capital development, aerospace and inspirational speaking.
