Ilyssa Goodman is an award-winning film producer and director, best known for the “A Cinderella Story” movie franchise, which has become a pop-culture mainstay. Ilyssa's film, “The Standoff”, currently shown around the globe and has paved the way for Ilyssa to pivot from successful Producer to film Director. As a wife and a mother of twin red-headed toddlers, Ilyssa navigates raising children in Los Angeles (where a simple play-date might involve caterers and a band) to in-laws who appeared for an unexpected and extended stay, to her own aging and challenging career in Hollywood. Born and raised in Paramus, NJ, Ilyssa battled dyslexia and the untimely death of her mother, before picking up and following her dreams and moving to Hollywood, with no money, no connections and no clue. She worked her way up through the ranks by doing dishes on movie sets and running errands before making it to the executive ranks to become a sought-after producer and director. Straddling between two worlds of housewife and Hollywood director, Goodman will always stay grounded as she perpetually finds goo, yogurt or finger paint somewhere upon her fancy clothes, as she mingles with the rich and famous at the swankiest of Hollywood parties.
