Ira Haimowitz, PhD has over 25 years of cross-industry experience leading strategic analytics and product groups within life sciences, packaged goods, financial services, and media. His background stems from doctoral-level research in AI and machine learning from MIT and Cambridge University. Professionally, Ira has led marketing and sales analytics teams across several major manufacturers, as well has direct marketing agencies, and consulting firms. He has served as an adjunct lecturer in master's level courses at two universities. Ira is also a former President of the Pharmaceutical Management Science Association. Data Analytics for Business is Ira's second long-form textbook aimed at current and future business professionals. Healthcare Relationship Marketing by Routledge was 2011 was Ira's first published long-form book. He has published many research articles, blogged often, and spoken extensively at conferences. In his spare time, Ira enjoys reading Presidential biographies, business strategy books, and science fiction; plus jogging, cycling, and spending time with family.
