J A Sliger, husband, father, grandfather. When he’s not working he reads and writes for his own enjoyment. With a former military and police background he likes to dig into stories, mostly history and try to figure out what led the individuals involved to react the way they did to the situation‘s they were in. Writing reports turned into writing books. Sliger cannot write anything without putting humor or sarcasm into it. His first book, Code Name Artist, is a WWII spy drama from inside the Third Reich. He has now written a series of several murder mystery books. The first one was “The Chief Is Missing” where in the West Richland, the small step-sister city of the TriCities. Followed by The Dream Stealer, Straight Nights, The Academy, Lucky Nickels, Not Bloody Likely (where he meets Miss Right) and most recently The Comedy of No. While he was a police officer, he became a training officer and sergeant in very quickly. When asked about it he replied, “It was because no one else could do as many stupid things as I did and live.” True or not he trained some of the best.
