J E Chase began creating suspense stories at the young age of twelve. After watching Stephen King's IT one day, Chase ran for a pencil and paper, excited to have Pennywise the clown live on in his own imagination. Inspired by prominent Hollywood storytellers like Steven Spielberg, Walt Disney, and Stephen King, Chase began telling his stories through the medium of film, by writing, directing, and editing his own movies. Taking inspiration from the horror and supernatural genre, Chase delights in exploring subjects ranging from serial killers to time travel, and is particularly influenced by TV shows such as Doctor Who and Quantum Leap. Chase likes to show through his writing, how people interact while being affected by the hacking of time, like in his story Time out of Time. Favoring plot twists, Chase finds interesting things that happen in his life, dreams of ways they could be funny or unusual, turns that into a plot twist, and then builds a story around it. He enjoys thinking of the worst possible things he can put his characters through. His other published works include Child of Darkness, My Childhood with Asperger Syndrome, and Unusual Tales. Chase currently resides in Warrensburg, Missouri, where he continues to write daily, pondering and dreaming ‘what if.’ http://centralmonews.net/entertainment/jack-chase-explores-time-travel-in-new-book/ https://www.facebook.com/J-E-Chase-237579233506513/
