J.J Savaglio is a millennial self-published author and activist. She is an active member of two nonprofits that encourage black excellence and success. She is a full-time mom, entrepreneur and mommy blogger who is just trying to make space on the bookshelf for black history books, and black stories to be told. She does not believe that black youth should have to search paid databases in order to get access to truthful "black history" in America. As a young black female who grew up in an all white town she had experienced racism and bias from a very young age; today she hopes that by producing content and educating herself and others on "Black inclusive American history" we can come together as a society to make a rippling change so that our kids can grow up in a better world. . . . . . . . . . .
