John R. Franke is theologian in residence at Second Presbyterian Church in Indianapolis, IN; affiliate professor of theology at Christian Theological Seminary; and general coordinator for the Gospel and Our Culture Network in North America. He has spoken on the relationships between the gospel, theology, mission, and culture throughout the U.S. and around the world and is the author of over a hundred articles, essays, and reviews as well as numerous books including The Character of Theology (Baker Academic); Barth for Armchair Theologians (Westminster John Knox); and Manifold Witness (Abingdon). His most recent book on missional theology is forthcoming from Baker Academic.
