Hi, I'm James Sanchez/El Jaime. I'm 5th generation from Spanish Descendant, born in Los Fuertes Colorado, a suburb of the oldest town in Colorado, San Luis. This land once belonged to Mexico. After the Colorado Territory was established, and after it became a State, my family was granted a plot of land in 1893, which we still own today. This has inspired me to write this fiction book about how it all came to be, the land distribution, all the tragedies and successes of everyone involved in settling this beautiful land around the oldest town in Colorado, San Luis.
