Introverts are awesome! The Dragons series is unlike almost any other young adult fantasy series on the market right now. Everyone else is doing these bleak, miserable dystopian stories about horrible worlds and horrible governments. Dragons of Introvertia is positive and optimistic - there's war, there's a character who struggles with anxiety disorder, and there are people who suffer for doing the right thing, but at the end there's always hope. If you're looking for uplifting fiction, you've found your new favorite series! James is a teacher and writer, who accidentally started the whole series when he jokingly referred to himself as "the grand pooh-bah of the Kingdom of Introvertia."
