Jamie Dodson writes Nick Grant Adventure historical fiction, non-fiction, and magazine articles. He is a 35-year career intelligence professional. He’s served with US Special Operations, Airborne Infantry, Army Aviation, and Air and Missile Defense, and assignments with our allies’ intelligence services. Flying Boats & Spies was published in 2008. It won the Eric Hoffer award for historical fiction, and it is optioned for a major motion picture. China Clipper was published in 2010, the third, MISSION: Shanghai, in 2012, and the fourth in the Nick Grant series, Black Dragons Attack, was published in October 2017. Book five Samoan Clipper will be published in 2021. Samoan Clipper is set against Pan American Airways attempt to bring airline service to New Zealand. In 2018, Schiffer Publishing released his non-fiction anthology, Hunting the Wind, on Pan Am Clippers with co-author Teresa Webber, a former Pan Am Purser Jamie Dodson served on three continents, the Hawaiian Islands and numerous U.S. locations. Currently, he consults for the US Intelligence Community. He and wife, Dr. Joan Dodson has lived in Huntsville, Alabama since 2001. The couple has two grown sons and a daughter, and one spoiled cat.
