A California transplant from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Jeff Gephart is the author of three novels (The Second Life, Out of Dark Places, and Accidental Adulthood) and one collection of short stories (Of Grief and High Delight). He has worked professionally as a graphic artist, elementary school teacher, and editor. With a background in performing arts, Jeff has spent time both in front of and behind the camera in a variety of independent film projects and a weekly cable TV show. When he’s not writing, Jeff can be found hiking, traveling, playing sports, annoying his friends with too many movie quotes, and enjoying the weather in Southern California.
