My husband, Aaron, and I got married on January 6th 2007. We were best friends, deeply in love, desiring to serve God together. The first 3 years of marriage were physically and emotionally painful. Our greatest area of struggle was intimacy, which amplified every other area of marriage. I found myself isolated from God and from my husband because of discontentment and anger. At the end of year four, God heard our prayers and saved our marriage. In March 2011 we launched Unveiled Wife and Husband Revolution to share our story in hopes of giving other couples hope for their marriage. On top of daily encouragement through social media and blogging, we have written books about marriage and faith, we have hosted a marriage retreat and plan to do even more in the coming years. God gets all the glory! He is the reason our marriage is stronger than ever! Our heart’s prayer is to be vessels of His love being poured out for His namesake. My purpose and desire is to help and encourage other wives by sharing my journey in learning to enjoy and appreciate my life as a wife. God inspired the name “Unveiled Wife” which means to be transparent and authentic in our relationship with God and with our husbands. It is based on the Scripture in Corinthians. "And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.” 2 Corinthians 3:18
