Bio for Joanna Brady Key West Kisses Short Stories and Tall Tales is the 2024 winner of the Richard Heyman award for outstanding literary achievement, funded by the Anne McKee Artists Fund. Joanna Brady is also the author of the Key West historical novel, The Woman at the Light and the post World War II novel Night Witch in Berlin, both of which are available on Amazon. A dual citizen, she was born in Canada and was a senior advertising copywriter and creative director at an ad agency in Toronto for many years. She holds a B.A. and M.A. from the University of Toronto. In 1995 the author moved to Key West, and has contributed to several publications, including a food column in the Key West Citizen for ten years. She has won a number of awards and grants for her work.
