Joanne Tombrakos has been calling herself a storyteller since before it was the trendy thing to do. She has delivered thousands of pitches in every industry sector over the course of a successful twenty-five-year career that has included working at CBS, Time Warner Cable, and NY1 News as a media sales and marketing executive. She prides herself that she never sold anybody anything, but she did learn to tell a very convincing story that closed a lot of business. A marketing and business strategist recognized as an expert in personal branding, she uses those same skills today as an Assistant Professor of Marketing at NYU’s School of Professional Studies and as an author. She sits on the board of the Paresa Collection and is the host of Marketing, Mindfulness, and Martinis, a podcast. While she currently resides on the other side of the Hudson she is and always will consider herself a New Yorker.
