I grew up in Madera, California, the youngest child of a country preacher. I began reading the Bible when I was about seven years old. I attended West Coast Bible College, Lee College, Butte Community College, Fresno City College and graduated at California State University, Chico with a BA in music. I also attended Youth With A Mission School of Evangelism and worked in missions for five years which included a cross country wagon train for our country's bicentennial, and work in the Bahamas, Argentina, Jamaica, and Mexico. My wife and I worked with various churches while working construction, welding, and manufacturing until I decided to go to the Manchester Truck Driving school while living in Sanford, Maine. For twenty years I've worked OTR, regional, statewide, and local in various jobs. As I'm experiencing my latter years I decided to write a book sharing with my kids and grand kids what I've learned about God and the basis for my faith and then decided maybe it can help others who have questions.
