Dr. John I Payne Jr. was born in Orlando, Florida on August 9, 1969. Adopted at birth, he went on to graduate from Jones High School before enlisting into the US Army. While in the Army John achieved a Bachelors of Science degree and a Masters in Business Administration before retiring from the military with 20 years of honorable service. Dr. Payne earned a doctorate of education. from the university of Miami in the Fall of 2023. He is a husband of more than 20 years and a father of three children. John is a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. He is also a strong advocate for the adoptees “Right to Know”! The Right to Know, is the granting of all adoptees access to their heritage regardless of the circumstances leading up to our being placed into adoption.
