John Ross is an author, professor, keynote speaker, and corporate trainer with a passion for unlocking the secrets of extraordinary teams. He began his diverse career as a seventh-grade history and English teacher in Mesa, Arizona, where he discovered his love for guiding others. From there, he produced musical events and eventually took on the role of project lead at one of the world's leading manufacturers. Now, he shares his wealth of knowledge and experience as a professor at The University of Tampa. With a knack for building and leading successful teams across various fields, John’s expertise spans researching, creating, coaching, and fostering unity. His fascination with team dynamics has driven his research into areas like hope, knowledge acquisition, and retention. He holds a bachelor's degree in organizational studies from Arizona State University, an MBA in finance from Drexel, and a PhD in management from New Mexico State. When he’s not delving into team dynamics or delivering inspiring keynotes, John loves meeting new people, exploring theme parks, and spending quality time with his family, especially his wife and their four energetic boys. Whether he's on a rollercoaster, at a training event or in the classroom, John brings his zest for life and learning to everything he does.
