Like many authors, I have drawn on experiences from my own life in my writing. That includes being a father, a citizen, a computer programmer, a patent attorney, a gun owner, and a voter, for instance. What I've tried to do in each of my novels “Angel Swarm” and "Naming Convention" is tell an entertaining and plausible story about a few people who are trying to solve a big problem using technology that is not quite yet in our reach here in the real world. In "Angel Swarm" the technology involves genetic manipulation and the problem is gun violence. In "Naming Convention" the technology involves direct communication between voters and their President, and the problem is government that does not reflect the voice of the people. In my very short non-fiction work "Will Trump Be Great?" I recall examples of great (and a few not-great) actions by past U.S. Presidents, and I give the reader blank spaces to write their own thoughts about Donald Trump based on his actual performance as president. I hope you enjoy these books. Thanks for your interest; I look forward to hearing from you in your reviews.
