Jon Decker is currently the Director of Instruction for The Medallion Club in Westerville, Ohio and works at the Dennis Meyer Golf School at the Hibiscus Golf Club in Naples, Florida (December-March). He has been a PGA member since 1997. He is the Senior Editor and Top 25 Instructor for Golf Tips Magazine where he writes instructional articles, produces instructional videos as well as writes his Christian golf feature, Fairways to Heaven. He previously was a Head Instructor at the Grand Cypress Academy of Golf, where he worked twenty years under Top 100 Teachers Fred Griffin and Phil Rodgers. In 2016, Jon published his first book, Golf is My Life: Glorifying God Through the Game. He recently published his second book, Fairways To Heaven: One Shot at a Time… In 2015, Jon was named the Southern Ohio Teacher of the Year. Jon has taught players of all levels, including players on the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, Champions Tour. He has coached at the PGA Championship (2011-2014) and the Women’s U.S. Open in 2007.
