The less traditional biography- "He's a person, who has done stuff, and won these bits of recognition." I could write this kind of biography, but I am not sure how useful it would be for you. I think the point of a biography here on Amazon's Author Central is to make me sound like someone you should buy a book from. So, let me take my best shot at earning your trust in the next few sentences. I believe that each of us has the ability to move others, and moving others is what leadership is really all about. I write about leadership because it is the only tool we have that is big enough to change the world. I have led teams in both the public and private sectors for years. I have a masters degree in public administration and am trained as a professional coach. Even with all that experience and education, I still make a number of mistakes along the way. Each mistake has been a great learning opportunity. I have also had some incredible wins over the years. I have had the privilege of working closely with some of the best mentors and leaders, and I have studied what works and what doesn't. What I write about on my blog at joanthanwilson.co and in my first book (Future Leader) is specifically intended to give you a better chance at winning as a leader during this time of rapid generational and technological change. I think this is important because I believe that when you win we all win. The more traditional biography- Jonathan Wilson writes, speaks, and consults with public and private organizations about the future of leadership. His first book, Future Leader: Rebooting Leadership to Win the Millennial and Tech Future, is now available. Jonathan has a master’s degree in public administration from Seattle University and professional coach training from the University of Miami. He has held leadership and management positions in both the public and private sectors for many years. Jonathan and his wife (the love of his life), Billie, live in a suburb of Seattle with their two awesome kids. During his off time you can find him at the gym, playing the ukulele, or sitting on distant sunny beaches (especially when it’s raining in Seattle).
