Julian Katz was born in Pennsylvania and raised in New Jersey. He received his BA in English Literature from The College of New Jersey with a concentration in creative writing. His work primarily focuses on LGBTQIA+ fiction, poetry, and visual art as well as alternative music culture. His first novel, Don't Call Me Ishmael, was published in 2021. In addition, he has published a collection of poetry, Make Me Feel as Beautiful as You. He currently resides in Colorado Springs, Colorado where he works as an author and educator.
