Katheleen moved to the United States about 4 years ago from Thetford Mines, Quebec, Canada, to fully concentrate on communicating with animals. Living all her life in a French-speaking province, it was quite the challenge to move to Texas with these southerners and their million slang terms, and make the switch to speaking English every day. With a remarkable 23 years of teaching experience, she now helps horse trainers and horse lovers to better understand their horses regarding their health, training, and happiness. Because of her inborn passion for animals, she decided to establish Horse Konfidence so that she could broaden her horizons and meet with more people to help work towards her main goal: the well-being of animals. Since she has been given the gift to naturally understand horses, she has been able to understand and feel what they have to say. A lot of the horses have talked to Katheleen about how they feel about their rider, what stresses them, their pains and more. She wants to help horses, their riders, and owners as much as she can. Hence, she decided that sharing her knowledge, experience, and tools is the best way to attain this goal. With this book, she hopes to help people understand themselves better and be able to connect with their horses more so that they can become a better team!
