Katherine Apruzzese Sherbrooke is the author of Leaving Coy's Hill, a New York Times notable book, and the winner of Honors in Fiction from the MA Book Awards, and Fill the Sky, a finalist for the May Sarton Prize for contemporary fiction and the winner of an Indies Book of the Year award. Her first book is a family memoir called Finding Home. The process of writing the memoir "reminded her" that her first love had always been books and writing, and sparked her to leave the business world in favor of writing. She embarked on that journey with the help of GrubStreet in Boston, the premier creative writing organization in the country, and published her debut novel in 2016.
