Kazuo Ota Cottrell received his B.S. from the University of Dayton. He also earned a M.S. from the University of Rochester, and an M.S.Ed from the State University of New York College at Brockport. Achieving a long-held dream, he completed a M.S. in Physics, along with his Ph.D. in Engineering and Applied Science, Computational Science and Engineering while studying in the Physics department at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth under the direction of Chancellor Professor Dr. Jong-Ping Hsu. His main focus has been undergraduate physics education and teaching high school and first-year college physics. He also has a strong interest in gravitation and unification. Kazuo enjoys writing, music, looking at and learning about the stars, and learning how to use Python to augment theoretical calculations. He is a lifelong learner and resides in the beautiful state of Vermont.
