Kerry Keene is a lifelong resident of southeastern Massachusetts and developed a passion for sports at a very early age. By the 1990's that interest evolved into writing many articles that were published on newspaper sports pages. In 1997 he had his first book published, "The Babe in Red Stockings", co-authored by Raymond Sinibaldi and David Hickey. It chronicled the first six major league seasons of the great Babe Ruth , spent with the Boston Red Sox. Several other books followed over the next couple of decades, primarily dealing with baseball and hockey. Along the way, Kerry explored his interest in music, playing guitar and singing in musical groups. He currently performs in a band called "The 60's", which pays tribute to that wonderful decade of music.
