I grew up in the cornfields of southern Minnesota. My parents had been missionaries, and evangelical Christianity for us looked like going to church, reading the Bible, and following the rules. Christian life was a totally separate thing from life with a body, mind, feelings, and healthy relationships. But I was successful at following the rules...all the way to the point where they almost took my life out of sheer misery! That's when I met some people who loved me and loved each other as their practice of faith. Their theology was bad, but their food was good, and the gift of the spirit they shared with me changed my life forever ✨ In prayer, everything I thought was true fell apart until I was left with only faith, hope, and love. I learned that the point of it all was to know God and love others in every part of life...including my sexuality! So now that's what I teach people how to do using a Biblical framework of ethics that is compassionate, holistic, and empowering. I am here to invite you to join me on this journey of life in the spirit and to discover the power of truth and love to transform everything about your world. I can't say it will be comfortable or easy, but I can promise you it will be worth it. Are you ready?
